From Cuneo, on the Gesso side, proceed in the direction of Borgo San Dalmazzo using the cycle path that keeps close to the course of the river.
In Borgo, follow Via Rocchiuse and Via Don Minzoni, until you join the road inside the Italcementi factory and then take State Road 20, which soon leads to Roccavione. At the beginning of the 20th century a popular piedmont holiday resort, favoured by its location along the railway line connecting Turin and the Cote d’Azur, Roccavione has many examples of Art Nouveau or eclectic style villas.
To reach the next town, Robilante, where the Accordion Museum is worth a visit, follow a secondary road that runs alongside the railway.
In the section that leads to Vernante you pedal along a cycle path that, bypassing the Sibelco quarry plant, leads to the village.
