From Cuneo to the Colle di Tenda, cycling along an ancient salt road

The Roya and Vermenagna valleys are crossed by a communication route between the two sides of the Alps that was already used in pre-Roman times. Today, this route is part of EuroVelo8, a 5900-kilometre cycle route that connects Cyprus and Greece with Spain.
